What kind of food can a betta and 6 zebra danios survive on? So far, I have brine shrimp on the list. Any flake/pellet that a betta and 6 zebra danios can thrive on with the brine shrimp?

P.S. Can you grow Brine Shrimp in those sea monkey kits?

I like Tetramin and Aquariumbrand flakes as a staple for most fish including bettas and danios. Other than brine shrimp you can and should add bloodworms, mosquito larvae, daphnia and other similarly sized frozen or live foods to your list.

Yes, you can hatch brine shrimp in a sea monkey kit and grow them to a reasonable size, however I wouldn't recommend that as a way to get fish food. You can't raise them very large, they will cost you a bundle compared to buying eggs in a pet store and once hatched, brine shrimp lose much of their nutritional value after about 24 hours unless great pains are made to properly feed them, which is quite difficult and keep the nutritional value high. I would suggest you simply buy frozen adult brine shrimp for your fish.

It is ok to feed your betta and danios different things. Feed the zebra danios and while they are eating feed your betta. It makes all parties involved happy.

i wouldn't reccomend attempting to grow anything except algae in those sea monkey kits, they're not really suitable for anything.
