I always wear lots of mascara & it takes me soooo long! I've tried false eyelashes a couple of times, but never actually got them on, and I ended up throwing them away!
I watched Holley on The Girls next Door as she put some on & she made it look easy & of course it looked GREAT when she finished.
What is the best brand for a beginner & is there any tips that will help me get it right? Thanks!

Try individual lashes. You only need a few to make a big difference and you don't have to worry about getting the band close to your natural eyelashes. Inexpensive ones are fine to begin with, start with individual lashes that can be bought at any drugstore.

Practice is what makes it easy, try applying them when you have time to get it right. Soon you'll be able to apply them quickly. Take a look at the article below for some tips.

Also be sure to curl your natural lashes and false eyelashes together so they look more natural.

Good luck.

Go to your local library & look for a copy of the December, 2006 issue of Allure. It has a really good feature about false eyelashes w/ product recommendations, etc.

You can start w/ any cheap lashes for practice. Just cut the strips to the size you need and place them strategically.

Sephora makes an applicator - it looks like an eyelash curler but wider. It's designed to hold the false lash & clamp it onto your own lash line.

Here's the link to Sephora's Starter Kit for only $18:

ardel use a medium length and put on then curl the lash with your natural lash then put on mascara do not use too much glue because it takes too long to dry then. You can also use individual eyelashes with a different glue for individual lashes use short or medium length. they last for about a week or two providing you do not remove makeup with oil based makeup remover

'Kiis' eyelashes worked great for me! They look natural and stick on great. Also, look for different colors to match your real eyelashes. And if falses don't work, Revlon's 'Non clump body brush' works great and easy-breasy on lashes.

Target sells Ardell lashes, and they carry a starter kit that comes with the lashes, glue, and an applicator. The applicator makes applying them super easy.
