So i have a friend and lets just call him D for now, who i think might be gay or bi, he says that hes anti-gay and he makes it a point to argue this statment and view, but i have been told from other people that they think he might be bi. He says that he anti-gay but there are times when i feel hes a little too close for comfort and that hes coming on to me. Can anyone help me tell if hes gay or bi or whatever? Somethings he does: he always has eye contact when talking to me and only me, He seems to like to touch me a lot, he likes to massage my shoulder when i'm satnding next to him. He bightens up when he sees me, he ditches his other friends to hang out with me, and even though he says hes anti-gay he seems to smile about it and not keep contact when talking about it, Please help, i need to know weather to set rules are not, cuz i don't have a problem with it as long as i'm not being flirt with.

textbook closet case. he's into you. it's a common coping mechanism, "protesting too much." he's afraid people will figure him out so he tries to throw them off by going in the opposite direction. he may be trying to fool himself as well. just tell him that there's nothing wrong with being gay and to stop being an @ss. i wouldn't try and make him come out because that could just make it worse. i would make it clear to him that being gay is ok and i would avoid being alone with him, assuming that the feeling is not mutual.

Yip hes Gay, hes scarred thats all, erm & he likes you.
Dont reject him, still be his friend. If you dont like the attention you must tell him, but do it privately and not too harsh the guy has a crush on you ok.
Be his friend, he will need support.

I think you should have a talk with him and let him know exactly how you feel. If it doesnt bother you that he is or might be gay, then let him know, however tell him you are off limits.

hmm....i guess it could go either way. he could be a closet case, or maybe he really does dislike gay people. i wouldn't try to start anything with him. just from personal experience, guys who complain the loudest are usually dealing with unresolved issues surrounding their own sexuality or perhaps past abuse. either way you don't want to get yourself tangled up in his messes. my prediction is that it would end badly with everyone involved getting hurt.
