try www.whitepages.com or www.dogpile.com or www.zabersearch.com or www.classmates.com with any of these you are bound to find your friends in no time!

I found most of my friends on www.classmates.com. It lets you enter schools you attended, military, and work experience. Then you can search for people based on this information. If you know what town they grew up in, you can usually find them by looking up their school on this website.
