Very. Everyone gets made fun of because of race. I'm french/irish. I'm an easy target for jokes and insults. But I let it roll off my back and laugh along with the jokes/insults. You don't see polish people getting their panties in a twist over everything little thing.

Its not immature at all... Imus didn't apologize because he was sorry... he apologized because what he said was heard... there is a difference between accidentally saying something and feeling bad about it versus being ignorant thinking that if you apologize then you will be forgiven... I'm sure this is not the first time publicly or privately that he has apologize for some racial or ignorant remark he has made... he is just that type of person... he thought it was funny and when he was the only one laughing he said "oh $hit I messed up" I hope they never accept it....

as a results of fact Jackson & Sharpton are expert African-individuals (ie - they have made a occupation out of inflaming racial subject concerns). without racial controversy, they have no longer something to furnish. on the tip of the day, Imus made an beside the point assertion a pair of decide on team of persons and this challenge is between Imus and the contributors of that team (the Rutgers basketball group). everybody else (Sharpton, Jackson, Roker, etc...) who declare to have been harm by skill of his remark might desire to examine their experience of vanity and recover from it. i've got been noted as lots worse, jokingly and otherwise, and don't walk around with a chip on my shoulder. undergo in concepts what you have been taught in kindergarten - Sticks and stones might smash my bones yet words will never harm me?

Don't you think they were discouraged from accepting his apology by the parties involved. Sharpton didn't get Imus fired on the 1st try so he'll beat it to death until someone kisses up to him.

Hmmm....The true teat of sensitivity to the issue is to try to walk in the other person's shoes.....or to say what is good for the geese ...has to be good for the gander.

So would anybody be up set if IMUS called the Ohio State Basketball team nappy -headed F***s for losing to Florida State?...Would you want your wife, sister, niece, aunt referred to in that manner if their team reached the Final Four?

You have to understand that certain parts of the country would like to see him fired.

I'm not sure if I would accept it either. I doubt if it's sincere.

You actually feel sorry for him after his statements? He blows chuncks and I'm sure his job put him up to that fake apology.
