You should have party and invite all Lou's friends, not those piranha though! Depending on Lou's age I would think either a clown or a stripper would be appropriate entertainment. Maybe some snack foods a small cake unless you use the stripper then a much bigger cake. Possibly some party hats and balloons.

I wish you could read Gustav The Goldfish by Dr. Seuss to him. Its about a kid who overfeeds his goldfish which then grows huge. There's a goldfish in The Cat in the Hat too.

get him a new plant or castle or something for his tank. clean out his tank and put some new bright fun rocks in there.

That poor fish has had a hard day. Girlfriend threatening to flush him, snails teasing him. All of this was happening on his birthday?? Poor guy.
