Ive recently bought a sunbed 2 use at home wen i go on it it brings me out in loads of freckles even more than i thought i had and there really dark especially on my face & arms,y is it doing this?Im wearing more foundation than ever 2 try & disguise them!Help!!!!!!!!

that can happen with uv exposure, either natural or artificial, especially if u are prone to them...don`t worry about it, freckles are beautiful!!!

Are you applying proper protection before tanning? If you feel that your face is more sensitive, then it needs the most cream protection before tanning.
You might be using a level that's too high, or tanning for too long.
Start of slow, and gradually build your tan, especially if you burn easily.
Just to remind you- Tanning beds are very unhealthy and should only be used moderately. Your skin is getting much more exposure than it would in the sun, and you're exposing yourself to artificial rays. It's no wonder that your poor skin is reacting and developing freckles. These spots will remain on you forever and could lead to skin cancer and make you look older than you are.

Deb, get rid of the sunbed, honey, and chalk the cost up to experience and not having skin cancer. These contraptions will only give you dry wrinkled skin and melanoma in 10 years. They are worse than laying in the sun. Please look into using spray booth or a self-tanner at home. Neutragena makes a great one. Follow it with one of those tinted moisturizers and you'll get a beautiful tan without the wrinkles or the cancer. Godloveya, dear.
