Yes. I would be perfectly content to be a hermit. I've had enough excitement, drama, and trauma. It's nice not to worry about the pressures of a relationship, having to keep others amused, having to be home on time (and getting in trouble if you're not), having to explain where you've been or where you're going, not being able to eat what you want when you want, etc. etc. It's quiet and peaceful. Quiet and peaceful is good. If I want to see people I can go see them but also I can come home, shut the door, and no one demands anything from me (except my cats demand their food!). I can stay up all night, or sleep all day and nobody is on my butt about it. I love it! I don't need another person to keep me happy.....I have my computer!

You are never alone...God is always right beside you!
If you mean are meant to be married....some people are meant to have a mate and some are meant to go it alone.
Pray about it! ; )

I think I am. I am so happy by myself most of the time, that I think I will be alone ( of course I like to be with friends and family).

Yes. Sometimes the only way to personal discovery is through solitude. Even in our darkest despair, there is a spark of light to guide us. The spark that resides in our hearts,minds, and souls. The spark of hope.

This helps me..
I must conquer, my loneliness alone.
I must be happy with myself, or I have nothing to offer.
Two halves have little choice but to join;
and yes, they do make a whole.
But two wholes when they coincide...
That is beauty: That is love.

Judging by the past 57 years, the odds are in my favor of remaining single.

To go on alone? I have always been alone, that's who I am.

Maybe but I keep trying to fight it, I'm sure I'll be alone again in a week. I'm a social retard when it comes to dating...

no and I don't think that you are meant either. I don't know what I did so wrong to hurt you, but I really wish you would at least have told me what's going on...
