Are far as male/female relationships go has society brainwashed you, or are you your own person? Explain or give examples.

I feel like I've always gone my own way. Society pretty much tell men to bang as many girls as you can before you get married and I just don't prescrible to that notion at all. I think that being in a loving, stable relationship where you can trust the person your with is far better then any 1 night stand. I see the results of that lifestyle and most of the time it is never good. My friend always bragged about how he bangs all kinds of girls all the time and he does, but now he thinks he might have gotten a girl pregant. I think hes gotten a few std's as well. That is always the result of the lifestyle that MTV tell us is the best way to live, it always ends in a bad way.

Are you asking if we think that society only accepts a male with female as a valid relationship? That if we believe this on a whole that we have been brainwashed? And that if we believe this apart from society, that we aren't our own person? I'm not sure of the nature of the question to give an educated answer.

I'm pretty much a free thinker. I used to think that society's way was the right way, then I learned that there is no right way, just your way. I learned early on, while dating women, that most are brainwashed into the same type of thinking, and I found myself in the same discussions/arguments over and over.
Now, I'm all about truth, raw and uncut. I say what i feel, and let the chips fall where they may. I learned you can't control the situation, therefore I became comfortable with the situation whatever it may be.
I think society has brainwashed men and women so that the truth gets hidden. Women are tougher than we men think.

Lets see i am my own person. why you ask? well i am not brainwashed as you may suspect. i in my time and age was to marry and live happliey ever after. well that didnt' happen he was a mess drunk playing with women and getting me awful stuff from his women. i learnt very young that you have ot go out and get job and support yourself and have savings and stuff and not rely on them to help you out they would steal from you if htey could.
