Twice, the first time was when I was about 21 (circa 1984) I was into the punk scene and dyed a bright purple streak in my hair. I was fired for it.
The second time was an accident. I had gone to the salon to get my hair dyed red. I walked out with this horrible burgundy color which I hated so I went to a friend of mine to have the color stripped and re-dyed. The first stripping took it to a dreamcicle color so she had to redo it. The second stripping took it to Billy Idol white. It was my son's birthday that day and I was late for the party so I had to leave before she could put the color back in. He had his party in the black-light room at the skating rink and I literally glowed. My husband was horrified, but the kids all thought it was wicked cool and I had fun with it. I kept it for a couple of days before going back to my normal dishwater blonde color. The shock value among my friends and neighbors was priceless.

I have never dyed my hair any bright color. I have dyed in a brighter blonde a few times. Then about 2 months ago I got it foiled brown and blonde. The brown streaks made the blonde streaks look brighter. I have seen a girl with bright red hair. Then there is another girl who has black hair and bright purple bangs

I had mine dyed what I thought was going to be blond that turned out to be bright YELLOW! I had to go to a hockey game looking like Blonald McDonald. Arguh! I went back the next day to get it toned down.

Tried to dye it platinum blond once and it turn out wet baby chick yellow. Also had it electric blue, bright purple and once green for St. Patty's Day.

I've done red before.. Was cool.. I tried blue but my hair's too dark =( Only sorta could see it if it was in the light.. The red was kinda bright I guess, so yes..

not bright but i havent cut my hair in like 11 years and back in 02 when it was like shoulder length i was drunk and dyed the right side dark blue and the left side green well my brother did it to me and it looked weird

I sometimes dye my hair burgandy. One time we didn't get all the dye out and it was Hot fricking Fuchsia Pink for a week!

I put in red,blond,and black highlights once
I also did green, blue, and purple for a 'wacky hair day' at school before!
