Ooh, it is? Didn't we just have a Friday the 13th recently?

Anyway, I don't believe in bad luck, and Friday the 13th has always just been another day for me. I usually don't even realize it's Friday the 13th until about half way through it when someone points it out.

Why should I be freaked out? Do you realize the origins of the unlucky "Friday The 13th"? Oct 13, 1306, a Friday, the pope ordered the simultaneous massacre of the knights Templar at sunset. That's why it's considered unlucky. I say it was unlucky for the Templar, but as I'm not one...there's no need to worry. LOL

No.I don't believe that Friday the 13th is an unlucky day.The reason I don't believe is because on a Friday 13th a black cat actually crossed my path and after that the day was pretty good for me.

what a day Friday The 13Th.
They used to stay indoors all day not even bother to get out of bed.
I think it was just a lazy day (mental health day) and as the years went by people made it out that because they didn't leave their beds it was only for bad reason.
I wish i could say better, but that it just ANOTHER folk law

13 was a sacred number, but the Christians had to stomp out the pagans. Black became an evil color, the moon-lovers became crazy (because it was part of the astronmical, agricultural, goddess-loving pagan society), and 13 became evil.
Oh, please.
Tell me why priests still wear black, then.
