I do. I bought a tiny box of them from 7-11 when I was 9(now 38) and I adored my beaner beans. I'm a mexican chick and I learned that there is a tiny maggot like critter inside the bean wriggling around and that is why the bean jumps. Pretty gross huh?

Yes. They were actually a bean type thing with a certain worm inside, I think. The worm was making the bean jump. I bet they are now not legal, like it's hurtfull to the worm or they had some type of disease or illness, or some little kid choked on one.

it was some kind of worm or a bug as i remember that it got hatched inside the bean and ate the insides during the growth of the bean

They had a little worm - a beetle larvae - in them. The heat of your hand warming the bean made them wiggle.

Yes I do remember them. They are so fascinating when you are young.
There was some larvae or something similar to that in the bean, and sometimes they don't last very long.

Oh yes...I used to LOVE those things!!! My Mom and Dad used to get them for me at the 7-11 store. There were worms in them. They REALLY started moving if you closed them into your hands and got them really warm.

a little larva of some kind lives in there and when it warms up from the heat of your hand he moves and the bean moves.
