Personally, i would think someone claiming to be so anti-racism like Al ought to be trying to PUT OUT the fire...NOT FAN THE FLAMES.
Make any sense???

You're quite right. Imus made a thoughtless remark, for which he apologized sincerely. I am pretty sure he was sincere, because he really did it in his own words and not in some politically mandated formula. He really didn't want to create racial trouble, and tried to correct it when he did. (It almost sounded to me like Imus forgot that he was white....he forgot his place, so to speak.)
Sharpton, on the other hand, apparently can't be satisfied. There was nothing Imus could say or do to satisfy him. There can never be peace where there is no forgiveness.

Regarding Imus and the discipline that was handed out to him, what was incorrect about what Imus had stated about the basketball team? Were there any tattoos on any of the players? Were there any members of the team that had any hairstyle that could be interpreted as “nappy”? Have any of the team members ever been involved in any conduct in their life that one could assess them as acting like a “hoe”? At least Imus did not have a contributing part to the death of another non-convicted victim like Nancy Grace has done several times already.

Sharpton is a racist. Imus is an equal opportunity hater. They should fight a duel with hand grenades at 3 feet.

Yes. I blame the media. They need to stop re-hashing this story. Even after watching hours of this crap on the news, I still don't know why he (Imus) said it! He must have said it for some reason, not that that justifies it though.

I think Al Sharpton is just trying to put his name out there again. Not really trying to solve anything. They both have their own agenda!

He is one of the biggest racist of our time. He and Jackson are always fanning the flames. He should of stayed out of this.
