you could become a Teacher or even a Researcher. You could work in a museum or become an archaeologist. What about writing about it too. I loved history and that also made me do well in English even though my spellings appalling lol thank god for spell check! Research on the net too the more you learn about different things the better you will do. Good Luck x

There are plenty of things you can do with an interest in History. First go and join your local Historical Society or Help out at your local museum, you will have access to local stuff that you might find very fascinating. Learn on the job, listen to advise, ask the curators and other people around you about the way they got interested and if they ever held a job.
Perhaps you might want to find a local dig and try field work?
If you have a big Museum close by ask if they require helpers at weekends or have vacancies for guides?
Study hard, start to look into what periods you want to study, type of History, what suits you. Dont give up, ask, ask, ask again.
Good Luck with it all.

Don't lose heart, you're in third grade for goodness sake! If you love history, then you'll be fine. We who love history have a love of knowledge, and I think you'll find that your studious (loves to learn) nature will serve you well in the future!

As to what you can do in regards to history, there's lots of great things. Teaching history to high school students and college students is great. You could become an anthropologist, which is someone who studies humanity through the years. Become an archivist in a museum, or study study study and become a historian. A historian gets paid to read about and explore history and tell others what they know.

Keep it up, if you love history your grades will improve.

Oh, oh. You could do the bomb of all careers. I love those documentaries where people study specific areas and then go investigate or experience it themselves. I'd love to do that.

You should study a tribe or civilisation then live within that community (as long as its safe) for a bit. You could write a book about it (comparing it to our lives or whatever) or make a doc.

Or you could research a historical myth, like Loch Ness or Big Foot. Then work towards making a trip out into Scoooooooootland or North America, or somewhere.

You could be the first person to ever see them. Well photograph them that is. Go for it!

G'luck.

If history interests you then you can teach history, write about history, do research about history or use it as background for any job that requires a college degree... assuming you major in it. You need to be a good writer and okay with math and science, and have good enough overall grades to get into college.

Employee in a role within a history museum, plays on the intellectual aspect of history, history museums within the european union, or history teacher for secondary schools, if you want university lecturer positions then you would take a masters or phd. thinktanks if you are in the US, the heritage foundation, in the UK the research institutions ie history has some connection loosely with international relations so chatham house.

Depending on the area of interest you could be a researcher, teacher, archivist, curator, writer of documentaries, a fact checker, a politician, a lawyer, a minister(yes most Protestant ministers have a degree in history in their background), a historical actor(the kind that reenacts historical events),professor, or even a famous author.

History has some jobs - you can work in politics or write books or become a news analyst.

With that said, you're still in third grade! Take it easy and allow yourself to open up to other subjects.

Good luck.

There are several jobs dealing with history ... from teachers, to museums, to newspapers and television and radio, to all of the new Discovery, History, A&E and TLC channels, to working for cities and counties in their history departments. History is everywhere around us.
