if your stuck on an island why do you need transportation. just how big is this island .im taking my husband my 6 kids and my 9 grand brats.please let me have a fourth thing. i would also need my dogs. how soon do we sail?

I gather that this is a question designed to establish what I consider essential to my happiness. Assuming I could survive off of what the island had to offer (food, shelter, etc) I would want:
That everyone knew I was ok. I would fret myself to death worrying about my family worrying.
Books to learn new languages or histories.
