These boats go under many names some are dinghies others zodiac's or RIB boats these have a metal bottom but inflatable sides. Zodiacs are all rubber or Kevlar nylon mesh. Then there are the El cheapo inflatables you get at wal mart.

well on a ship they are tenders, yaughts they are called dinghy
some dont blow up. you could call it a life raft. but those don't have motors.
