you know how in freddy vs.jason @ the beginnig when freddy brings jason back .... but what i wanna know is how did jason die in the first place.

he drowned while the camp counslers was having it...and that is why he came back and killed them all

Which time? In the original he was stabed through the mask. In a prequel he drowned.
