I have always found Imus disgusting, and now even more so.
To call a group of women whores - just for the heck of it - on national tv and expect it to be accepted or considered 'funny'
shows how slimy everything, but especially the media, is becomming. Sad.

That man is an ridiculous moron, but I do not believe his statement can be considered racist, infact I believe it is wrong to accuse him of racism. Anyone can have nappy hair, and anyone can be a ho. His statement was more chauvinistic than anything else. Al sharpton had the nerve to criticize imus, when al sharpton is an anti semite.

Eh, I support complete freedom of speech. People should say what the hell they want to...

I didn't watch it, and I wouldn't make a call like that. There's no real reason to insult somebody unless they start some **** with you.

EDIT: Did everyone forget about Imus's fundraisers for kids and that ranch project he has? It seems that the instant someone screws up everything they had done to help others previously is just thrown to the wayside and ignored.

Why?

The price for ruining people's reputations and character carries a very high price. Forget what color they are. How would anybody like being called a ho if it was them, their mother, aunt or sister? That's called slander. I hope they have really deep pockets.

Their hair may be curly, but what, I ask, makes them hos? Imus deserves whatever he has coming to him.

Why is this kind of question being asked on a Women's Studies forum? Soon all that will be left will be loser, stupid trolls who dedicate their whole lives to Yahoo Answers Women's Studies.

I mean, I think this incident is important to talk about, but in an honest and intelligent way, not "Do you think he was right? Har har."

Imus' brain has been dead for a long time & he should have been taken off the radio a long time ago. Thhis isn't the first time he's said something like this.
