Survival requires real food, not fake food. Have bandages, fist aid ointment, scissors, tape, multi-vitamins, aspirin, WATER WATER WATER, individual snack or nutrition bars, canned food (and an opener!), dried anything, blankets, a knife (for cutting and/or hunting if necessary), and other stuff like that.
Think about an extended camping trip.

I wouldn't put fake food in a survival kit. This is only a guess, but I'm thinking that you can't survive long on fake food.

A survival kit should include matches, some ground up tire rubber (for starting a fire), a compass, dome first aid items, a swiss army knife, a mirror, carbohydrate type foods that won't spoil (actually, beef jerky and rice cakes are excellent for this), a canteen for water, of course.
