x=0 f(x)=0

what is the value of f(4)?
what is the value of f(-3)?
im really stuck on how to figure this out????????
im not asking anyone to do my homework, just asking for an explanation on how to do it?

It's impossible to answer this question based only on such information. There are infinitely many possibilities for f(4) and f(-3). A function doesn't get well defined if all you know is it's values for a proper subset of its domain.
