You can and lots of peopple do, but it's always a risk as you don't know what may have been used in the manufacturing process. Some would be safe, some would not and there is no way to tell them apart.

hi, confident you are able to placed silk plant life on your beta tank. consistently wash something you put in there so which you're no longer putting pollutants or the rest that would harm them. never use any variety of cleansing soap basically warm water. utilising chemical compounds in a tank will harm, kill, or lead them to truly ill consistently use organic water. you need to use real plant life to boot yet make valuable they do no longer look to be poisonous as a results of fact some are and fish choose to p.c.. at them. Do those issues and that i promise your fish will do wonderful.

I have a fish tank and I never thought of putting silk plants in my tank. If they sell them in the fish dept. , they must be ok. But I would ask somone in that dept first.

I buy the silk plants from fish stores. I find they are better overall than plastic ones and they don't injure my bettas.

I also have live plants in some tanks.

For the most part they are ok. The problem can occurr when algae starts growing on them. You will not be able to get it off b/c it will grow into the fibers. Also make sure that you rinse the plants very well before putting them in the tank. Good Luck!

If they're made for tanks then it's safe. I personally prefer live plants though, they keep better water quality.
