I have a delld610 with intel grahpics 915gm?

I don't have a svideo wire but I have a connect that will allow me to connect it with the end having the yellow wire at the end of it. When I try to switch display it won't work I wonder why? I don't have any extra settings for tv output or anything it says till I plug in the other device.

Trying holding down the "Fn" key in the lower left and pressing the "F8" Key (CRT/LCD). That will toggle display between the build in display, an external monitor and the TV output. You usually have to press the key and wait 10 seconds for the display to switch. As it has multiple settings, you may have to "press and wait" four or five times before he goes to the correct output.
