Every now and again, a sequel is called for. However, when we're at Cinderella III and Lion King whatever-number-it-is and Aladdin Whatever, it seems they've gone a little overboard.
They're so afraid of making anything new....have you noticed that Pixar is the only Disney label making anything new? Everything else is "lets crank out another take on the same story."
I think the magic is gone. I hope they get it back someday.

I actually dislike sequels especially on disney movies because they usually cannot make the second movie relate to the first one and it usually is not as good. Sometimes it corrupts the whole purpose of the first movie to begin with. If it was a movie like "cars" I could understand a sequel but other than that it is pointless.

NO SEQUELS! sequels completley change how everyone believes the first one ends up. disney movies such as cinderella, beauty and the beast, peter pan, etc. are classics! sequels ruin ideas of everyone in the story "living happilily ever after." and i agree with Kamage, cinderella III basically rewrote the original cinderella!

Not really sequels kind of take the 'magic' from the movie.
For example beauty and the beast had a 2nd movie and it was awful. little mermaid was okay but it was the same thing all over again.

No sequels. They are sub-par and usually go straight to video.
