I put a hole in our 99 ford taurus transmission pan and we took it to ford to be fixed but we ended up buying a new car but I still want to fix the old car but ford took off the pan and a tube and i have no clue where the tube goes back so I need a lay out of the tansmission or some pics to see where it goes.
Thanks,

The reson the dealer did not put it back together is because they were thinking we were going to give them the car
I will sell it in Calgary AB Canada for $500-$1000

Attatched to that "tube" is supose to be filter.

Go buy a filter kit for it, and follow the instructions privided within.
You're going to replace the fluid, pan gasket, filter anyway.
Right?

Go to your local car parts shop and look for the black and white colored book that have FORD printed in bold lettering each book is for a different make and modle ford usually they go by the year of cars so for instance for you you would need to look for the years 1998-2000 Ford. And also look on the book for they type of vechile that it is for it may not have it. But this is the cheapest way of do-it-yourself work. I will have picture b picture of the whole car and what to do on it if not then you may want to ask a privatly owned shop and ask them how much it would cost to have the work done by them or if you know someone who could do the work.

Well good luck, hope this helps

if you can't find pictorals on the web. you could go to your local library and sit down with a Haynes manual or Chilltons manual, find the page with the diagram you need, mafe a photocopy of the page and go home and put your tranny back together.(why didn't the dealer put it back together?)
