Sure, if the inverse is also true, which in math cannot necessarily be decided upon. Besides, in your own mind you are already god, so what would be the point of lowering yourself to merely ruling this world?

If everything is simple as that, then I should have been the Lord of Light and Arts by now. No one should rule the world. It can't possibly be as simple as that. Like Einstein said : "Everything should be simple, as it is, not simpler."
