No for the first question.
Yes for the second, but that was the way plays and poems were written at the time: poets did not hesitate to borrow from other works. It did not prevent their work from being original.

True and False. Shakespeare did exist and he
did write a "bunch" of stuff. Now then, there
is a theory that Christopher Marlowe wrote
some of the material that Shakespeare was
to suppose have written. Both their writings
were so closely related. There was a news
paper article years ago about this and too
about the death of Marlowe. Who knows?

There is proof that there was a man who lived during that period named William Shakespear. The reason people believe that is because his works seem so differentlt written that the assumption is that they must have been written by different people. However, there is no proof that they weren't written by the same person.

I really don't think Shakespeare's works are "Borrowed" in any form. Most of his plays were quite controversial. Ans saying he never existed is saying Jesus never existed.
I have a very large book of all of Shakespears plays, poems, and Sonnets...

That is one theory, but then again, someone thinks Elvis and Tupac are still alive. He was alive, lived in Stratford, they have his baptismal record, they know the house he was born in, and yes, he wrote and performed in his plays. The other theories that he never existed are pure fantasy.
