I dont know if you would consider me "petite", but I got pregnant when I was 5'3" and 115lbs. There were no complications in relation to my overall body size. Heck, my grandma was 4'11" and 100lbs, and she had 4 children just fine. Thats not to say you wont have complications at all, every woman and every pregnancy is different. Its just that you probably wont have trouble just because of your size. Good luck with conceiving a baby, and congrats in advance!

Well, the good thing for me was that I could continue to wear normal clothes most of my pregnancy. The bad thing is, it's hard to find petite maternity clothes! Most maternity clothes are huge!

Also, you waddle a lot when you get really big. It was hard on my lower back and my knees.

Oh also, not to scare you, but my baby broke my tailbone when she came out. That is very rare though! Just we aware it can happen. It really hurt, and it still does over a year later.

Please read this article, too. I just read it, and it really scared me! It's so important to get plenty of good nutrition early on in your pregnancy. I had a preemie, who is still underweight for her age, and now it's possible (reading this) that maybe I wasn't eating enough either right before I got pregnant, or during the early months.

Good luck!

I am a petite woman also. I am 5'4 and 124 pounds. When I was pregnant in 2005, I was 115 pounds. By the time of delivery I was 145 pounds. However, I had my son at 33 weeks.

I don't think you should have any concern when my cousin got pregnant she 90 lbs and she had no problems during her pregnancy and went up to full term and have to healthy girls a 3 year old a 1 year old and she is still under 100 pounds so i don't think you have anything to worry about. Good luck

She had both her baby naturally with no complication.

Say you have been provided a deal by means of the Nazis -- for each and every little one you individually strangled to demise, 2 adults might be introduced from the camps. What quantity of toddlers might you strangle?
