None of the above.
Pennsylvania and Rhode Island are states, and didn't come into being until long after Christianity was introduced.
The correct answer it, it was introduced by the Jesuits, who accompanied the Spaniards when they entered South America. The Spaniards themselves were interested onlyl in conquest, not in conversion. But the Jesuits were there solely to harvest souls.

B. Spanish. By the time of Jamestown, there were two thriving seminaries in Mexico City. There were chapels up and down the California, in Texas and New Mexico and in florida.
With that having been said, it is thought by some historians that Eric the Red left several missionaries in Nova Scotia when he first came here. There have been signs that their work survived even until today on the island.

The Spanish (B), took priests with them on their voyages to the New World. Queen Isabella considered herself to be godmother to the natives in the western hemisphere.
The Society of Jesus (Jesuits) is a specific order of Roman Catholic priests who were not organized until 1537. They have been actively involved in missionary work ever since--the original members of this order were Spanish, but there were many French members as well (Isaac Jogues and John Brebeuf, for example, labored among the Canadian Indians).
There were also a fair number of English Jesuits, who took their native land as a mission field (Edmund Campion is among the best known).

Portuguese and spanairds to start with. The first Christians were Catholics on exploring ships. the were followed by other christians of other denominations with teh Jamestown colony and early settlements. The catholics were probably the most prolific though in trying to bring religion to the new world. Do not forget Erikson though and the early Viking expllorers. Some of us still have some intereting views on this. my grandfather was forced to cut his hair and raised in fostor homes and removed from the tribes. yep some of us do not celebrate Columbus Day.

b. The spanish. It was Hernando Cortez that first introduced the Christian religion to the Americas after his brutal and savage Masacre of the Aztec people, which he accomplished by Impersonating one of their deities, the Feathered Serpent Quetzlcoatl.
