Happiness is not a big deal if you can be satisfied with small things.

If we push these truths to the limit,

what it will be?

Ultimately it's a slave morality.

Telling others to be happy with nothing sounds a lot like the words of someone who is about to take everything from you. "It's okay that I am about to own and control you in all ways. See? You can be happy even like this. All you have to do is accept it."

These are not the words of someone doing you a favor. This is not the philosophy of someone who wishes to create. If you are happy with less than the best, then that is probably what you will get.

Happiness is being content in the moment. It is making peace with your situation. It does not mean complacency, you still have a mind and will to act. Simply accept what comes as a response and act from that. Time and energy spent being angry is wasted as it does nothing to improve the situation and is a personal hell in it's own right. It is how you experience life that dictates its quality.

There is a story I have heard of a samurai who want looking for someone who could tell him what heaven and hell were like. He searched high and low asking many people and they would either not know or would say that their scriptures said that hell was like "this" and heaven was like "this" but none actually KNEW first hand what it was like. One day he came upon a monk and he said he was a samurai and tiredly asked the monk if he knew what heaven and hell were like, but if not to say so, so he could be on his way.

The monk looked at him. "A samurai?! You! Ha, you're a country bumpkin!". The samurai started to get angry. "Guard your tongue monk! I am a samurai, and I asked you a question, do you know the answer or don't you?!" The monk regarded the samurai "ha, you're no more a samurai then I am!". The samurai grasped his sword handle. "I'm warning you monk, do not insult me again or I will cut off your head!" The monk regarded the sword. "With that! You couldn't hit a barn with that pig sticker!"

The samurai unsheathed his sword with fire in his eyes. "Thats three times you have insulted me monk, and now you will die!" Poised to strike off the monks head, the monk looked at the samurai and said "Samurai. That is hell." The samurai stopped and understood what the monk meant. He quickly sheathed his sword and bowed down to the monk to thank him, tears and gratitude in his eyes. "And samurai." said the monk "that is heaven".

It is said that releasing all desire for sense objects and not placing your happiness on something that is just a thing will free you from the suffering that occurs from perceived lack.

Someone can be perfectly joyous with nothing because they have everything they need within.

They r only truths if u believe in them. If u push them to the limits u will get bored with them. Its not every body's cup of tea, so stop thinking about it.
