Accidents and adverse effects resulting from the accidents is the leading cause of death for people under 45 to 1 year of age. Of all the causes of death due to accidents, the leading cause is motor vehicle accidents. Motor vehicle accidents remain a high risk for all age groups.
From 1-4 the death rate per 100,000 people is 38.3
From 5- 14 the death rate per 100,000 people is 22
From 15- 24 the death rate per 100,000 people is 90.3
From 25- 44 the death rate per 100,000 people is 177.8
From 45- 64 the death rate per 100,000 people is 708
For people over 65 the death rate per 100,000 people is 5,071.40
