His show enjoys the distinction of being America's longest-running game show, with Wheel of Fortune being a distant second.
I haven't watched the show since elementary school, but my mom still watches it religiously.
I think if he's ready to finally retire from it, good for him! I wish him well. And perhaps CBS can creep into the 21st century with its daytime programming.
