The America I believe in is neither left or right. dem or rep.Our elected leaders have forgotten this. The republicans took control of the government and gave all power to the white house- no checks and balances. Decisions are based on political gain and nothing else. Lying has become the norm so much that the old joke is true. How do you tell when a politician is lying?? They're lips are moving.

Can you read would be the better question. Congress' approval rating is dismal, especially since you loopy leftys were all trumpeting this great victory you scored in the House and Senate and how things are going to be so much better, AND THEY'RE NOT. Last week (I know your memory isn't all that great but you can look it up) Congress' approval rating was lower than the President's

Whats yer point... neither congress nor Bush have done all that much to make things amazingly better. Lets see that Dem. congress start making some of those great changes it promised, sure there's a Rep. President to veto it but they're not even trying. They're too busy fighting over how big a plane Pelosi needs. Democrat, Republican... they're all politicians and nothing changes... get off yer high horse.

Whatever. Congress is doing the will of the majority. Bush has alienated most of America but he's still working on the rest. Personally, I hope Reid tells Bush "you've got your money, either take it or forget about it"

you're proper. And it pointsout an attractive phenomenonin American politics. in the finest twelve months the "neocons" havetaken quite some convenience in the very shown reality that Congress, now below Democratic administration, has very low ovrally rankings. That, in spite of the indisputable fact that, is primary. The graph you linked to breaks this down by using social gathering--and shows anentirely diverse tale: disapproval of Republicans better than ofthe Democratic contingent. yet--in both case, at the same time as those polls can supply us a experience of ways human beings experience genrally about the Congress, they have fantastically a lot no longer something to do with the electoral outcomes (you will discover that honestly sufficient only out of your graph, searching on the relative strengths of each and every social gathering in Congress over thesame time period--theere's little or no correlation. the reason being problem-free: human beings do not vote for"Congress"--they vote for man or woman applicants fortheSenate or the homestead. So--i'd say this promises a experience of ways theAmerican persons are viewing the respective events--and that doesn't bode nicely at inquisitive about the GOP. in spite of the indisputable fact that that's of restricted use in prediction the elections--because that is how man or woman races bypass that counts, no longer those time-honored rankings, interesting as they're. i'd upload onething: one a threat reason behind the present rankings is that the american persons are (properly) poinntingtho the obstructionist techniques ofthe Republicans because the reason forthe restricted accomplishments of the Democratic Congresstod ate.
