but on the other hand he has brought the indian team 2 gather,n they have some brilliant matches under he's captiancy............

Rahul Dravid seems to have no confidence and captaining abilities. He acts like a younger cricket player who needs someone to follow. I do not seem him very much as a senior player and the fact that he is fading away from what he used to be doesn't help, neither does the media. It seems he can work better if he has less pressure of leading the national cricket team. In this way he is a bad captain and now bad player.

While it is a fact that Indian Team under Dravid was knocked out early from the world cup, one should remember the fact that except Kapil Dev, no other captain has been able to win the World Cup for India.
Irrespective of the losses under his captaincy, I consider Rahul Dravid as a good captain.

There is no better captain for India right now than Rahul Dravid.
Dravid, unlike Ganguly and SRT who pad up their average against sub par teams or at flat pitches, plays according to the demands. He does not hesitate to sacrifice his wicket for the sake of making more runs....Remember he got out at 270 trying to reverse sweep and get quick runs.
Dravid, as captain, was unlucky to pair up with Greg Chappell. GS was a total BS. All these talk about experimentation, having a plan, a vision to make India the top team, etc etc, wall all just plain talk.
Dravid will show his mettle as captain soon enough under a reasonable. Do tell me that I was the first to say it.

He should just be a cricketer not captain.He is not strong enough for captaincy.In 2003 India made it to the finals ,in 2007 just pool matches[league match] with just one win against Bermuda and India lost against Bangladesh and sri lanka its just shame.The reason is that in 2003 the captain was strong saurav ganguly,in 2007 the captain was weak dravid.So I think that 100 percent ganguly is a better captain than dravid.Dravid is not able for captaincy.

Rahul is not a better captain for india . But , he still known as the WALL of indian cricket team . His concentration power is superb !!!

Though he lacks strategy(his own or forced by others)he must take bold decisions in the team's interest as he did when he declared with Sachin on 194 in Pakistan.He must also see that rival batsmen are not allowed to settle easily with proper bowling changes using every talent on hand.

He is a good captian and a better sportsman.
after loosing the match against bangladesh, he called personally his opponent Tamim and presented a bat to him for his performance and gave some tips to improve his batting.
I put a request to every one to look cricket as a gentleman game.

he is not very good captain but right now in indian team, there is no other player who deserve captainship. so ya, rahul is the only choice.

he is not a better captain at all.
