the back windows are all limo tint. by the way I live in CA..yea i know its illegal but I dont care

Then go as dark as you want if the law is not an issue. You already answered your own question buddy. Good luck at night though.

they usually have laws against tinting the front windshield. Ca would be one area that I would think regulates the auto's fairly close. All you are going to do is draw attention to yourself, and you'll get the attention of Chip's. It that's want you want, then go for it. I prefer to drive my car without the hassle.
I suppose they could make you park it and not allow you to drive it, until it is inspected and found to be roadworthy. They could also tow it in, and when you pick it up all the stereo equipment is gone and all the other mods are gone too.
Good luck dude, but I wouldn't do it.

Make them dark enough so that when you get your dumbass arrested, the cops won't be able to see you wet your pants.
