He was described as being sort of an odd-ball. He loved to eat lemons and he would ride with one hand/arm up in the air because it helped his circulation. He was described as being very devout in his Christian beliefs yet he had no problem leading his forces in killing hundreds and thousands.

I think the Smithsonian Magazine did an article on him a few years ago. I did a quick search on their website, and got a reference to a current article. If you live near a library with a subscription, they may have the back issues.
I seem to remember that he was considered a hypochondriac.

wqell me and stonewall go way back sigh i remember tohse long nights me and him staring at the stars then we would go back to our tent and do the dirty lol i seriously have no clue about stonewall jackson except that he was killed by somone of the same platoon becasue they though he was an enemy

Austere, eccentric, devout, loving husband and father. A dichotomy of sorts with his Christian beliefs and being very good at inflicting horrible defeats and casualties to his enemies. He also would hold grudges, especially at his subordinate commanders. Though a very good general.
