White and/or black women are only disrespected when they allow it. I don't think this is a black or white issue, excuse the pun. Your color does not matter, it is whether you allow a cycle of disrespect to continue, then you have taught the person that it is ok. p.s. MEN are disrespected all the time by women, it just isn't talked about as much because it is then seen as "whining like a girl".

Definitely black rappers! But black women love the songs and love to dance to them, so what's the problem when a white guy says the same thing?

Being neither a man nor a black woman I have rather an outside view on this, but I don't think black women get a whole lot of repect from either side.

It isn't just the blacks. Believe it or not, I've heard the phrase "women belong in the kitchen" so many times that I can almost predict when it's going to be said. We live in a sexist country and were going to live in a sexist country for quite a few more centuries.

This is not about disrespecting Black women. It is about a professional journalist diminishing the accomplishments of these Black female athletes, by using his outragious racial slurs. You've completely missed the point and that's sad.
