Imus has stated his support for John McCain- a very conservative senator. He has also stated that he is a Republican. Just because he's generous, has Harold Ford on his show and talked about Katrina and the aftermath does not qualify him to be called a liberal.

In my opinion he is just a shock jock They say loose lips sink ships in this case his loose lips have sunk his ship I learned a long time ago no matter what you think there are just things you DO NOT say His remark was entirely crude, rude and uncalled for So-called "humor" at the expense of others is not justified At a time when a group of young women accomplished an amazing feat of getting to play-offs of
the NCAA, there was no justification for tearing them down Good work girls maybe next year you will fulfill your dream Shame on you Imus No apology can ever undo the damage you have done or the hurt you have caused those young girls You as an adult should have known better

He's a McCain supporting Republican. To those who say you can't be a shock jock and a conservative, take a look all the right-wing pundits: Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Bill Oreilly, etc.

Just a shock jock. But after what Sharpton did a few years ago with the Tawana Brawley fiasco, he is the last person that should be crying racist.

hes just a greedy american who will say whats on his mind (and everyone elses) to get a laugh.
much worse has been said about better people, so suck it up.
was he wrong to say something like that, yes.
but what about howard stern? just because he dosnt interview serious people who want to whore themselves out to sell a book, he can say what he wants?
its a double standard, and if people dont like racism, then they should stop making a big deal about it.
its like the school bully, if you let it know that your bothered by it, then its going to keep f*cking with you.
but if you let it go, and understand that the offending person is just an ignorant, insecure little child, then your the better man (or woman, sorry feminists, I dont want my d*ck cut off)
stereotypes exist for a reason, are they politically correct? no.
but, they have substance..if a majority of a certain type of people do something, then it becomes a stereotype.
so, stop doing what your being accused of, and there will be no problem.
"dont start no sh*t there wont be no sh*t" is the best way to put it.
if 60% of blacks listen to rap, and 90% of rap is about crack sales, rape, deserted families, and gun crime...
its only logical. and that 30% of blacks who have degrees and businesses of their own, or play golf, and are more respectable than the 50% of WHITE TRASH that has defiled this nation... well, think for your self.
