Yes, before she died, my wife would send me flowers once a month at work.

I've gotten flowers several times at work. Mostly for Valentines Day or my Birthday...and usually from somebody I didn't like. I would get so excited to see the flowers, expecting them to be from some guy I was dating and it never was. =(
I can imagine the look of disappointment on my face while everyone watched me open the card. It makes me laugh now though.

I once received flowers from Marshal Dillon. (I would have simply said,Matt Dillon-which is his name, but the younger generation would think I meant that skinny boy actor.)
Anyway, he sent me daisies, my favorite flowers. The note was so precious.....I keep it in my bible. Unfortunately Miss Kitty found out about it. There was a huge rukus in Dodge City that night.
And you say you got flowers from Elvis.....are both of us dreaming?

Yes, my mom sends them to me every year for my birthday, and I had a guy send them to me once when I was in high school at my job, he sent them just because but I wasn't interested in him and had a boyfriend at the time so the whole situation didn't end well.

One year, I told my beloved all I wanted for my birthday was flowers. So he sent them. To my office. And he kept on sending them. All day.
Finally my boss walked in and told me to ask him to please stop sending flowers (he was kidding), because the place was starting to look like a wedding reception.
It was really cool. And no, I don't remember how I got them all home. . .

I have had flowers delivered many times...
Sometimes for funerals, birthdays...after nights of great s e x...
Problem is I hate flowers!
