I would go back into time when the Indians ruled the lands. Life was easy and peaceful. Everyone did there part for everyone and nobody collected welfare or unemployment. There was no land owners or bosses everything was everybody's and nothing was nobodies.

I don't think there ever was a time when the world was peaceful, unless it was before man came along.If the only two choices were to do good for humanity or make money I guess I would go for the humanity angle. Problem is ,when changes are made back in time, you could have unintended consequences. I would love to visit America when it was all indigenous but they had their wars, tribal grounds and killing also. Life would have been more brutal in many respects.

Both. I'd go forward in time, find some nifty invention that would aid humanity in the past (er, present), bring it back to this time, claim to have invented it myself, and make a tidy profit.
