don`t you think the internets great ?

Question

you can look back on old memories music wise.
you have information at the touch of a finger tip.
but you can witness things you normally would`nt.
and there are all kinds of scams to be exploited.
was it better before mobile phones a internet ?

It's the best thing and the worse, like anything else it's what you make of it. Personally, it's where I go for info on just about anything and I've never been to a raunchy site, have no use for it in that way. It's also a good way to have an impersonal relationship with people and they don't have to know details about you you'd maybe rather not share. Works both ways.

Yes i do think it's great, now when I can't answer a question for my son, i know that we can sit down at the pc and find the answer together instead of waiting until the next day to go to the libary which I guess is what I would have to do if the internet was not around.

My daughter had the internet long before i did. She used to go on and on about it but i had no interest. Then one day i did. Yep, depending on what you go on, its great. I see it as a link to the rest of the world. I can sit here and ask and answer questions with complete strangers. The only thing that bothers me are the unfeeling idiots that answer genuine questions with something negative. THAT i can't stand.
