18 in most states without parental consent and no reasonable parents would let their minor children get married.
You are way too young anyway.

Depends on the state. But do yourself a favor don't even think about it! If your pregnant...you can't fix a mistake by following up with an even bigger one! ADOPTION People used to get married at very young ages, but under very different circumstances. Young girls were given away in arranged marriages (sort of like gifts or bartering chips) and this was usually to a wealthy older man that in turn supported her and her family some how benefit from this arrangement. A 15 year old boy was only married at such an early age if he was a member of the royal family (another arrangement). Neither of these arrangements had anything to do with love. consent, or getting pregnant.Tomes are different now and it would be a great mistake to even consider marriage at such a young age.

The thing before getting married is making sure you know who you are as an independant person before you have someone else making your life for you. You need to work on becoming an adult once you leave your teen years because that's who you will be as a person and you should understand that. You want to make sure you are who you are, instead of Mrs. Somebody. Let yourself shine. For some people that takes a few years, for others a short amount of time. The thing is...don't rush cuz you have the rest of your life.
It depends on the person and the relationship itself. Don't be too quick to get married, and make sure this person is the right person for you.
And for the engagement...when working out problems and plans for the wedding, it's a perfect time to see if you two are able to work things out. If not, keep in mind it's not too soon to back out. There are some people you can love but not be IN LOVE with.

You usually have to be 18, but I've seen shows on MTV when kids that are like 16 and even 15, but I don't think 14 is allowed. You could run off to Africa or Romania. (In Romania you can get married when your 11, but that's only if you want to do it the traditional Romanian way), or (it would just be better to go to Africa if you truly love him then you can get married for sure), or (you could elope, they would ask how old you are and you could just say 16) By the way no offense or anything, but don't you think you're a little young to get married. My mom got married when she was 21 and she got divorced a year later, and now she tells me that she was to young at 21, but you at 14, just think about it.

Legally speaking, You need consent of a parent if you're under 18, I think. Generally speaking, I don't think someone should get married until they are financially stable enough to support themselves, understand to balance a checkbook, and can understand complicated bills....trust me they get complicated, the phone company and hospitals will rip you off all the time if you let them get away with it. Phone comp will tack on extra charges without your consent and hope you dont notice cuz then they make money and most people dont study their bills what they're being charged for. Hospitals won't bill your insurance properly if you have more than one insurance. You really gotta watch them.

Depends on where you live, all states have different laws on marriage. My advice is to wait awhile,if it was meant to be,you will still be together a couple years from now. You also have to have parent permission if you are under 18 in most states

legally you can get married at a very young age....but take it from someone who has been married young...don't do it, you'll regret it...I know you two are in love and all that but hold on to your youth, have fun with your guy and wait till you can afford a house and can start a family...like when you're 24 and 25

You need some things to be there before you get married. One big aspect of marriage is freedom, you cant marry with out being financially stable to support urself..another aspect if maturity, how can you have a long marriage when both or one person acts immature all the time. this might lead to a divorce or unhappy marriage...so thats 2 of the many things that need to be there, but you should know when you guys can make it. good luck to you, and great question!!!

allot older than you are now. In some cases this boy could be charged with a lower degree of rape charge because of your age.
Why does everyone want to get married at such an early age?

don't ruin your life so early. you're 14. getting married is a huge mistake, at any age, unless you are the 1 out of 100 who found their soulmate.
