Your rabbit should be eating hay and alfa now, it is so important to there health, not only there gut productivity, but also dental.
However with other greens such as cabbage, runner beans, etc, introduce them slowely and not all at once. Being only nine weeks old your youngester is still growing and although there intinal immune system was kicked started by mums milk, there immune system is still developing.
Any large intake of vegatables could result in a very upset tummy, which can be fatel in youngesters. My advise is to introduce a vegatable a week, e.g carrot one week, cabbage the next.
Try to avoid watery veg like cucumber and tomatoe!.

Also do not feed your rabbit lettuce, most people dont know this but it is actually posinous to rabbits, it has toxins in that are just a no no..
good luck with your new baby!

You want to wait till he is at least a few months old. Depending on the breed 3-5 months is the best age to start introducing certain greens.

Remember that the rabbit should never have light green and watery greens, like iceberg lettuce. Greens like that will only give the rabbit the runs and make them sick. As well remember that any treats you give the rabbit, are just that...TREATS! and they should be given in a small amount at a time once and a while. Not constantly.

Fianlly make sure that you don't give the rabbit greens to early, if you do they could get sick, because their bodies are not old enough to handle the treats. They need nothing but hey and the straight pellet food that has all the nutrients.

Hope that helps!

He should be ok, thte only thing really dangerous there is the chocolate, even tiny ammounts can make him poorly. Try feeding him a little more food, he should have a around a handfull and a half of rabbit mix and then i tend to give him a bit of carrot. Carrry on with the hay and fresh water. The treats are fine as long as they are specially designed for rabbits. Try keeping him in a more secure place or a safer room apart from the kitchen as the rabbit hates the smell. Do not disturb him when he is pooing as most of this stuff needs to come out of his body. Hope this helps :)

Your rabbit should have been started on greens before it left mum.

But i have a problem as your kitten should not have left the breeder until it was 12 weeks old

DO NOT GIVE ANY FRUIT OR VEG for 6months as you can kill them as there tummies and intestines havent developed properly and wont be able 2 handle it....when the time comes and you are able to feed veg etc lay off the lettuce as you can kill them with that ...For the time being hay and a little grass will be suitable and will not do them any harm
