McDonald's chicken nuggets are now advertised as being made with "all white meat". This concerns me! Does this mean they were made with something else before?? I'm worried for my health!

they were and they still are it is actually the carcus and what everis left on the carcus after it was stripped by others who really use the actual meat then that goes through a process of grinding nad mashing it all up and then it gets washed (ready for this) in BLEACH (food grade) but still... so after all that washing in the bleach it turns white and they can call it all white meat ....wait till u find out about thier burgers .....they wash off the fungus before they ship it to the stores...sorry stick to homemade hamburgers and make ur own chicken breast nuggets.

Dork!! Their chicken nuggets just used to be made with white and dark meat. I eat them sometimes when I go there and I am still breathing. If you are concerned about your health then just get a 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal with apple dippers instead of french fries and milk insted of soda.

McD's chicken nuggets are made of white meat but they're seasoned and coated and cooked in oil so they are not good for you. They are nutritionally a zero.

no, before they were made with white and dark meat, nothing to worry about. people eat dark meat all of the time, and to my knowlage, most of them lived. Havent you ever eaten a chicken leg???

Granted it could be false advertising, but the "all white meat" doesn't say "all white CHICKEN meat". However, I am very partial to the "boot" shaped nugget. He's my favorite.

"All white meat" means that it contains no "dark" meat, such as found in the leg, thigh, etc.

Breast meat is the white meat.

However, be aware that McNuggets used to contain bone, skin, and other parts of the bird. Part of the "mechanically separated" process.

Yeah actually they were, they show on the movie Super Size Me,that they used to just throw the WHOLE chicken(bones, beak and talons included)into a grinder to make them!

I think that they've always been with white meat, but since all of the other fast food chains have been saying it, they did too.

LOL!! Good question. I can't eat their chicken nuggets without sweet and sour sauce...for some reason they don't taste right.
