F = 1.8C + 32

It's a good formula to remember. Here are a couple of examples using critical temperatures.

C = 0 ==> F = 1.8*0 + 32 = 0 + 32 = 32 = F, the freezing point of water.

C = 100 ==> F = 1.8*100 + 32 = 180 + 32 = 212 = F, the boiling point of water.

C = 20 ==> F = 1.8*20 + 32 = 36 + 32 = 68 = F, a laboratory and industrial standard for room temperature.
