thank you! in another question i gave an answer to a young lady asking if he should be forgiven. i said yes and gave an example of how i have been treated racist, apparently some blacks live by a different standard and think that it is ok for them to act a certain way but a white doing the same thing is racist. double standard. racism is racism regardless of your skin color and if its ok for some to make a comment and not others what are they fighting for. thats not equal rights! oh by the way, whats with saying that people have never heard a black person make a remark like this? i guess people dont watch tv because you can find these comments coming from blacks everyday! lets get real stop fighting over childish crap! you dont like his talk show dont listen or watch it! lets have chappel fired, ive heard more racist comments out of his mouth than imus.

No. But he did go outside the realm of comedy to say what he said. People can mention Dave chapelle and Chris rock all they want till they are blue in the face- they still have white followers. What Imus said was in a different context.. he was being racist. He was not being funny, he made it sound like an observation or some crap like that. At least when Chris Rock and Dave make jokes they mention jokes about other cultures including- Blacks.

Damn when are people going to grow up and realize that not everything that is said is purposefully mean, or hurtful. Not to mention the fact that the 1st amendment says we have the right to free speech. So I can say anything I damn well please and will not apologize like some child whose done something wrong. True there are consequences, and true there will be those who object, but that does not mean I must remain silent. What happen to peoples sense of humor? When did sensitivity replace speech, and where do you draw the line. We Americans have become overly sensitive, overly effected by our lawyer talk, and overly feminized into believing every lie that any social organization would have us believe. What a bunch of Politically Correct morons.

No! He did not. If you think I'm lying then just tun to the
Murry or the Jerry Springer shows. In less than a week you'll
hear that and worse. Don't demand respect from one group
that you wont give to yourself. Two weeks? That's a overkill.
Perhaps a few blacks should call him a "Jive A--honky
motherf----- again and call it even.

Question #72 concerning Imus/Al Sharpton/Nappy Head Hoes...This is getting sooooooooo old.....

You can call your sister a a$$hole and get away with it but if you go out and start calling people you don't know the same not only will it say a lot about who you are, but you can expect a couple of bruises as well. Now the big question is "are you intelligent enough to comprehend the analogy?"

Hell I hear it all the time, don't know what the big deal is....if blacks are so insecure about themselves and their culture that they can't take "it", then why do they dish "it" out all the time.....

I have the same opinion as some people here who said that if Dave Chappelle said it it would be looked upon as funny. But, like someone else stated, the point is is that the man has a job talking with the public. And although we have freedom of speech in America, one still has to watch out about what one says in public or suffer the consequences. Let me ask this question, " what if Tom Joiner, Micheal Basden, or some other blk celeb radio person refered to white folks like, " well, what about them pale faced devils?" What would happen then? Or what if some asian radio person refered to latinos as re-fried bean eaters. No matter how you slice and dice it, it's wrong....DUH
The man should be fired and not just suspended for two weeks. Bigotry is alive and growing in America and other parts of the world.
And don't give me that **** about blk people call themselves that, then so can I. I'm asking this question, and this question is just for people with children. Would you allow someone in your childs school to beat your childs butt if your child acts out in school, or would you prefer to be told about it from the school and then you beat your own child's butt if you choose to do so?
Why is it when blk people let other than blk people into their circle, that other than blk people starts to act more wilder than they normally do? I'm not generalizing, but I have been observant. And this applies to many white females that have blk men. Just because you date or are married to a blk man doesn't make you an authority on blk people. And if you look at it from the other side of that coin, hell, millions of blk folks been/are seeking to be white, for the most part, ever since blks were enslaved, and it really doesn't get blk people anywhere by doing that. For the intellegent, it makes blk people look like they can't be themselves.
Another question, when is the last time you heard of a blk radio person or even a blk celeb make any kind of racial joke/jokes about another ethnic group in public? And comedy clubs don't count.
And it's very funny to me that you will see other than blks bashing blks on TV and in public more than you'll see blks doing it. And what gets me bent out of shape is that you actually still have black people that hope and pray that other than black people will have sympathy and mercy on them and give them this or that, instead of going out and getting what life has to offer for ones self, and being proud of what you are born with. You still have black people praying and WISHING upon a dayum star that things will be equal for black people here in America. For black people that think it will get better in America, please, don't hold your breath.
