I am an early riser, and when leaving to take my son to school at 7 am, its dark and I have to have the lights on, and in the evening I do not return until it is dark anyways. so what were the benefits?

My husband also goes to work very early. But I can only tell you how the time change has benefited us. We are raising two toddler aged grandchildren and before the time change, it was also dark when he got home so he never got to go outside with the grandchildren. But now, he has about an hour of outside time with them when he gets home which allows me to fix dinner for him and me without interruptions. Before the time change, I was fixing our dinner with the "help" of the toddlers and it took twice as long. Now I can cook and clean with out a 3 year old helping to wash the dishes and a two year old helping me cook.

I like it.

The only benefit I saw in the early time change, is that was light out when I got out of work.

I can see no benefits at all. As you pointed out, we had to turn lights on in the morning, counteracting the fact that we can leave them off until later. I think the whole thing is stupid to begin with.

The downloads for your computer to fix the time included a new spy program so that the government can watch your every move. This program includes a camera that can look into your home from the screen. They will get us all yet.

It helped me because the sun was shining in the bathroom window while I was trying to get ready in the mornings. Now it isn't. It also gives me time to work in the garden when I get home.
