i had my daughter 6 weeks ago by c-section and i have not had my period yet. I am not breast feeding. I did have protected sex 3 weeks after my c-section. Could i be pregnant?

I have had c-sections with both my babies, and I usually started my period about 6 weeks later
considering that your not pregnant again(by the way You my lady are a real trooper I wouldn't even let my husband touch for at least 2 months lol) You should be starting anytime. If you don't then you should go see your doctor.

It's very doubtful, as it takes some time for your body to return to normal, weather from natural childbirth or c-section. Your homones are probably still out of whack, and if you're not sleeping well, yet, that will also cause some hormonal imballances.
I remember, after my first baby, panicking that I could be pregnant berfore everyone thought it was "safe" to have sex again. Turned out I was just stressed with having a new baby, and everything that comes with it. You'll probably get back to normal in a few weeks.
You probably won't want to get pregnant again right away. It does take some time for your body to fully recover from pregnancy. Hormone levels, vitamin levels, and especially recouping your calcium! Having had three kids (and one miscarriage) in just under three years, I can speak from experience.
Frankly, if you felt well enough to have sex, then you were well enough, only you know your body best. If you're totally stressed that you may be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test, or get your DR to give you one.

You are probably not pregnant. I have had 4 c-sections and with each one I bled for about 6-8 weeks afterwards. It took me several months to get a normal period back. Relax and enjoy being period-free.

I think that it is usually about six weeks after having a baby that you would get your period. You should speak to your doctor though. I think three weeks is to soon to return to sexual activity, especially after a c-section.

u will get it soon. call u dr if u think ur pregnant. normally after a cesetion u get it a couple of week after post partum bleeding stops.
