My family love to watch a bit of South Park every day but so many people dont know what south park is and i just want to know why? would you be interested in watching it even if you didnt know what it was if i said that it was funny?

South Park is a very clever program, which is not afraid to attack subjects other shows call taboo. The creators have even been quoted as saying that they are equal opportunity insulters and nothing is sacred!
Some of the shows go a bit far, but I admire them for their tenacity and their ability to fight the system!

Looking back, the first series was a bit ropey, fart jokes, swearing and very little actual humour.
But no, the writers have gone past that (but still a big part of the appeal) and focus on, and take a wry look at political issues, and use many comedy mechanisms that many other sitcoms wouldnt touch.
I particularly like the pop culture references (a la Family
guy) and repeated use of catchphrases (a la Little Britain)
Infact, I have Sky+ and there some episodes on there now, I might go and watch it right now.

I love shows that push the boundries like South Park and Family Guy. So yes. Very Much. Giggity.

I am such a bad parent I introduced my eldest girls to South Park on Boxing day - it was cool - no more Hannah pooping montana - no more Drake and Josh just 2 12 year olds going round saying oh my god they killed Kenny! Now we all love watching the TV together!

I love south park!! Its probably one of the best comedy cartoons around :D. Maybe people dont know what it is since it's only really showed on paramount comedy late at night (too racist/rude to put on ITV etc.)... its so hilarious but at times I wonder how they get away with that stuff!

I love that programme. Too much some may say. All I know is that if you want to live in my world, you have to know South Park. Screw you guys, I'm goin' home.

SP is one of the funniest and well done shows on TV today.
I talk with lines from the show all the time. Just the other day, I got a sandwich at the deli and the cashier said... That'll be Tree-fitty, and I cracked up.

The first episode I saw was the satellite dish ejecting from Cartman's backside. Been hooked ever since. Quite a few years now.
