I'm white but i think north-african and middle-eastern men are much more sexy than white guys. Are there more (white) women having this problem, not really being attracted to men of their own race?

I'm a man, but I've read about what you describe. Basically, all female mammals "shop around" and evaluate males as potential sperm donors to fertilize their few precious eggs. This is thought to be the reason why females are so much more selective about whom they have sex with. (Unlike males, who have billions of sperm to squander.) There is a "famous" scientific test where a wide variety of men were asked to shower (no deodorant) and then wear a brand new tee-shirt for two days. The tee-shirts were collected and individually packaged. Then a large group of women were asked to "sniff-test" a number of shirts and rank them according to how "sexy" they smelled. In the end, it was discovered that women are repelled by the smell of men who are genetically similar to themselves. Only men who were significantly genetically different smelled attractive. Men of different other races were found to be especially desirable. It is now thought that women have a natural ability to avoid unhealthy in-breeding and to choose a genetically diverse mate, based on pheromones. In short, there's a very good instinctive reason you prefer them tall, dark, and handsome.

Everyone has different tastes. I'm a white male and I prefer Hispanic females. Go with what you like.

It is interesting to note that many cultures in North Africa and the Middle East do not regard women as equals and, I suspect, the man would be the dominant partner in a relationship. Perhaps men from these cultures provide you with a sense of security that others do not.

attraction is very complex. There may be psychological reasons (like you were offended by someone of your own race, or you saw something in people of a similar race that you did not want for yourself), or just plain physical reasons (just not attracted) or social reasons (you think that people of other race are more socially at an advantage). So may reasons. I am not attracted to people of my race as well and i know why. I had a bad experience with people of my own race growing up. I now realize that it is a situation that i could have found myself in with people of any other race and that everyone in my race is not like that. Mentally i understand that but i still have not been able to get myself to be attracted to people of my own race.

Well, I'm a white male and I think most women are attractive. That being said, Latin and Indian women are the extreme in my mind. Except maybe a true redhead with good facial features, which is RARE.

I think beauty can be found in all nationalities. And I do not think that you are a racist as one mini mind called you. I have a preference to. I married a Filipino Woman. But I personally think that White women are the most beautiful women. especially the smaller version of them like Avril Lavigne size. From head to toe they are exclusively beautiful.

P.S. I am not white. Soy Mexicano

No. I'm attracted to highly intelligent men with healthy bodies and a respect for women. Race has never been an issue, although many African and middle-eastern men have been a turn-off to me simply because they refuse to deal with me in the business world. That kind of misogyny is a REAL turnoff.

I seriously doubt it. Bu the way, you are attracted to men of your own race since you are a human being. Think about it that way.

kind of a broad generalization, but black men do tend to date more interracially than black women. Statistically most women in general tend to prefer their own race. I don't condone it but research has shown this to be the case. There are probably more opportunities for black men to date interracially than black women on average.

It's just the "opposites attract" deal. People go for others that are in some way different than them. I have the same attitude towards women. I guess it's the "foreign, exotic" thing? Not 100% sure why.

This is not only common, it's perfectly natural. Both sexes have a strong predisposition towards finding an intense attraction to foreigners, or people in any other way "not like us". The reason behind this is partly genetic; the urge to mate with individuals that don't necessarily come from the same social group as yourself is Nature's way of warding off inbreeding.
