I think some feminists hate women...at least certain kinds of women. They seem to be contemptuous of stay-at-home moms and imply that they are "simple". They are infuriated by women who support the pro-life movement. They don't like most republican women---especially those who are active in the party.
I STRONGLY believe that women are the equal to men in everything that matters...we are their superior in some things...inferior in others---but it all equals out. I would be highly OFFENDED if someone called me a feminist, although 20 years ago I proudly wore that tag. The movement has changed and not for the better.

When I was in college, a lot of the feminists seemed to hate men, or at least to not want anything to do with them. It's probably been a good ten years since I've met a real man hater, even among the large population of lesbians in my area. Hating a whole gender is a position that is simply not compatible with life or reality. After all, everyone is related to people of the other sex. Even racism makes more sense.

This is truly doubtful-- maybe some feminists hate some men just as some men hate feminists.
Feminists stand up against the "good ole boy" mentality that runs the world. Jeez, women have been voting in this country for less than a century-- we're barely out of the burqua ouselves!
If those women in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan ever got empowered, I pity the turbanheads !

no... my aunt and roommate are (or were) both feminists and maybe others are different but, the attitude that I get from them is basically that feminist is a glorified word they use for "all I do is ***** and whine because I want attention." I think Before in the 70's etc it was about equality and getting fair treatment but they are both too young to have been part of that...

Some do. Others just hate how "underestimated" women are.
You know. Supposed to clean, take care of kids, no job. Stupid stuff like that men say that pisses off feminists. Think we're supposed to do more or better than that. It's a new century. Men and women go together. Not sure if they're supposed to anymore due to homosexuality. But to each his own....Her own...You get the point.

Some feminists, I guess out of frustration would like to see men castrated. There seems to be an oversupply of venom and hatred towards men in general, Others, fortunately do not hate us, they merely tolerate us. It is a sad state of affairs.

I am thinking that being a feminist is a lot like being a vegetarian..
some vegetarians .. dont eat eggs .. they consider it poultry
some vegetarians .. dont eat cheese .. dairy = cow/goat
and on and on and on ...
feminists are just rebellious to me.. they pick a few things to take a stand against and that's that.
Sometimes some of them put men on their list of things to take a stand against..
Add this to the long list of things I will never understand.\
I am all for fairness.. but not at someone elses expense (how fair would that be?)

NO they don't, but they do hate men who say things like.
Do feminist's really "hate" men?
If so, why? Weren't we designed to go together?

I am sure some do. We were designed to go together, but some women just don't feel comfortable with men. I am NOT one of them. I get along great with men.

Feminists are women who want equality in the work place and in life. This has nothing to do with their feelings about men.
